HO'OHUIHUI
6'10" | KUKUI BASE WITH OFF-SET RUDRAKSHA AND MANGO STRINGERS AND KOA TAIL BLOCK.
Ho'ohuihui vi. Mixed, mingled, united, joined; to pool together, hoʻo.hui.hui Caus/sim.
Named for the different types of wood we brought together to create this board. We curated this unique Kukui from Waipakē, added thin Mango and Rudraksha stringers at an offset position to further compliment the marbling and coloring of the Kukui. Finished the tail off with a lowland Koa tailblock from Kīlauea, both sides have unique coloring and textures.
THE DUKE
7'9" | Kaua'i Mahogany
A classic Duke shaped alaia, made from Kaua'i Mahogany. During the time when Duke began making surfing popular in the western world, this shape was very common. It was a time when they shifted from a rounded nose to a pointed one wanting to have something that cut through the water better. By using a template from the hull of a boat to create this nose, this shape has become iconic to that era.
HOKUALELE DUKE
6'10" | Hokualele Monkeypod
Hokualele grown Monkeypod, grown, milled and cured all in the same place. This is the last of this special tree, shaped in our Duke design for a classic looking alaia with a lot of character.
DOUBLE STRINGER BLOCK
6'8" | Rudrashka & Hawaiian Koa
Moloa'a grown Rudraksha with two Hawaiian Koa stringers and tail block.
